617 points, one win: how Acorn + Boltzz placed their way to the NAC title

The scoreboard: 12 games, one kill spree that never came

The replay ledger reads like a consistency manifesto. On Day 1, twis acоrn and twis boltzZzero0 never finished worse than 13th — six straight scoring games, four of them top-6 — for a 7.0 average placement and 318 points before the lobby slept on it. Their elimination volume was mid-pack by design: 47 team elims across the series produced just 188 of their 617 points (30.5%). The other 429 came from simply being alive at the end, over and over.

Signature stats

One POI produced both champions — and they treated it opposite ways

twis acоrn and twis boltzZzero0 dropped Frosted Flats in all 12 games, with a median landing just 4 meters from the POI marker and an average spread of 21.6m — and the EU champions, AG Scroll 10ǃ + AG Sky., dropped the very same POI. But where Scroll and Sky squatted (median 12:14 at the POI), Acorn and Boltzz ran a speed-loot: a median of 3:49 on site, Acorn working the west half, Boltzz the east — the widest loot split of the four Frosted duos (median separation 77m) — then out. The commute helped: Frosted ranked 11th of 13 tracked POIs for average haul to zone 5 (694.9m), one of the cheapest on the map. And the neighborhood stayed civil — their closest regular co-landers, 1up Jemitty + hylnd olk, kept a median 177m of distance (and finished on 88 points), and the champions logged zero off-spawn fights with any co-landing duo all series. The survival clocks: champions own the top four

Across all 200 Grand Finals players, the four longest time-alive totals belong to the four champions: AG Sky. at 241.3 minutes, AG Scroll 10ǃ at 239.8 — then twis acоrn at 236.3 (#3) and twis boltzZzero0 at 234.7 (#4). They did it on unremarkable legs: Acorn's 40.98km walked ranks 100th of 200 — dead mid-field — and Boltzz's 47.39km ranks 44th. They didn't out-run the lobby; they out-lived it.

The most balanced duo in NAC's top four

No carry here: the workload split was 52.2 / 47.8 — the most balanced of any NAC top-4 duo. On Epic's replay kill counter, twis boltzZzero0 logged 27 eliminations (9th in the whole field, 6th in NAC) to twis acоrn's 23 (21st field), and the damage ledger landed 5,790 vs 5,709 — 81 apart over 12 games, 11,499 total (17th of the weekend's 100 duos). Even their steal ledger is tidy: 2 stolen finishes (both Boltzz), and each player robbed exactly twice.

G11: the endgame came home

Frosted Flats hosted only 4 of the weekend's 24 zone-5s — NAC G9 and G11, EU G1 and G11. In NAC's two, the duo that lived there cashed both: a 6th for 64 points in G9, and in G11 — the Day-2 NAC game whose final zone settled on Frosted Flats itself — their only Victory Royale: 93 points, 7 elims, 1,639 duo damage, the biggest damage game of the series for both players (904 for Acorn, 735 for Boltzz), won without holding the Victory Crown. The arc: Day 1 built it, Day 2 survived it

The two days were different tournaments. Day 1: a 7.0 average placement, 318 points, nothing worse than 13th. Day 2: an 11.0 average and 299 points, with the series' two stumbles — a 17th in G7 and the worst game of their weekend in G10: 21st place, 3 elims, 22 points, the one game where the duo split broke (twis acоrn dealt 548 damage with 3 elims while twis boltzZzero0 managed 196 and none). One game later came the 93-point answer. That is what a placement title looks like from the inside: the floor holds, the ceiling visits once, and the storm owes you nothing — their storm tax sat mid-field all weekend, at neither extreme of the luck table.

The margin still needed defending to the final circle: GEN ritualx 9ǃ + twis cold 11ǃ finished on 584 without winning a single game — 33 points back, the tightest title gap of the weekend against EU's 158. And here's the quiet twist, per Liquipedia's FNCS 2026 records: Acorn + Boltzz had already qualified for the Global Championship (Antwerp, September 26–27) through the Major 1 Summit — as had the EU champions — before Major 2 even started.
